We think of different ways to support your loved one to stay engaged and independent. Some residents feel a sense of purpose from helping us with our 'daily to do list' which involves setting tables for lunch or dinner, folding laundry, wiping down tables or tidying the lounge. Your loved one is free to do as much or as little as they wish.

As Home Manager, you need to be friendly and approachable, have good knowledge around care and be able to make decisions in what can be stressful situations. It’s my job to make sure residents are happy, comfortable and all their needs are met. Spending time with the residents, building relationships with them and seeing their smiles is still my favourite part of my role.
